Impact of moving server from one group to other

Initially I had deployed a few servers, which included Windows and  Linux servers in the same server group. Recently, our organization has decided to segregate servers based on their platforms. I therefore have to create platform-specific server groups and move the servers into those groups. I am interested to know if there is a checklist to follow while moving a server from one server group to another. I also want to know the impact of moving a server.

Move the Phoenix folder on Windows Server 2003

We have a Windows Server 2003 based file server in our network that we are backing up to Phoenix. The C:\ drive has just 4 GB capacity and I see that the Phoenix folder located on the drive at  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data is taking significant amount of space. I am curious to know if there is a way to move this folder to another drive.

Why does a manual backup in Phoenix exceed the bandwidth policy?

I have noticed that whenever I manually trigger a backup, it keeps running even after the scheduled window is over. However the scheduled backups honor the time window. Is this a configuration issue on my side?

inSync Client behavior after deleting device

We are a large organization and we use Druva for our endpoint backups. Our IT team is quite busy with assigning, replacing, and changing devices for our workforce and partners. We are also running two or three versions 5.6, 5.8, and 5.9 of inSync Client in our environment. I have observed that whenever a device is deleted from the inSync Management Console, the behavior is different for inSync Client version lower than 5.9 from those clients of version 5.9. I am curious to know what is this change in behavior and the reason for it.

Prevent users from backing up data from external hard drives

We have a number of sales and support executives who travel in different locations. We use Druva to backup and restore official data generated by our executives. Our users mostly use laptops and in a few cases, tablets for their official work.
However, we have observed that in the recent past, there is a sudden surge of data being backed up from our user devices. This has increased our expenditure on storage cost of our data.  On investigation, we observed that a lot of our field executives have started backing up data from their personal hard drives.
This is a concern for us. We have tried excluding certain file types from backup but this does not seem to be a permanent solution.  Please advise if there is remedy or a workaround by which we can prevent users from backing up data from external data drives.

Can we share messages when we share links?

We are running inSync client 5.7 on cloud in our organization. Our users use inSync share feature quite frequently. However, we are looking for an enhancement in the share feature. Our users need to send instructions and custom messages with the links they share with their counterparts. Please confirm if these options are introduced in inSync client as we would be interested in them.

IPv6 support for Druva

Recently, our organization has decided to do away with VPN and move on to Direct Access (DA). More and more of our infrastructure applications, public-facing websites and forward-facing systems require our network to support IPv6 protocol. We are therefore curious to know if Druva products also support IPv6 protocols and whether Druva can backup from devices configured with Microsoft DA.

inSync API returning empty data

We have multiple on-prem inSync servers in varying geographic locations.
Recently, we started to try leveraging the API for custom reporting and aggregating data with other services in our environment.

To handle this, I've got a PowerShell script that runs on a schedule every morning at 2am. It queries each server's API and attempts to dump the data into a separate database. However, I've found that on rare occasions each API call will return HTTP 200 with completely empty data. When I run the script manually to start troubleshooting, everything works fine.

Has anyone run into this before, or perhaps have any ideas of where to look? I'm hoping there's some kind of API log on the server that I'm not aware of.
